Does the main article template {{Main|SomePage}} provide any benefit over just typing "Main article: [[SomePage]]"? Does the template provide some additional information to Fandom or search engines? If not, why does it exist?
As far as I can tell it just spits out a div with the classes "notice hatnote context-link main dablink"
Well, it's convenient to have such template + it provides better view on the mobile devices (if it's type is set correctly to "Context-link template"). Of course, it doesn't help in SEO in any way.
What do you think?
