It should be playing nice with light theme, what issues are you seeing?

Here's a quick shot. !importants are completely white (highlight added using browser f&r), while other colors are not my kind of taste, if not bad a11y. It looks nice in dark mode though.

Yeah the theme was from DarkCC, so it was designed for use with dark mode, but when I tested it, it looked fine with light mode so I figured it was fine to leave on light mode too. I've fixed the !important not showing up (thanks bryght). Not sure about the bad a11y tho, it's better than before, atleast on the dark theme, I'll look into it.
