How to make a quote template made by Lua look consistent with one that's made in wikitext?

In the Japanese Object Show Community Wiki, there's a template called Dia, which uses Template:DiaM, which uses Module:DiaM (which also uses several modules).

Some context: Dia and its modules were ported from the Japanese Object CrossRoad & AviUtl Wiki template of the same name, which is a modified version of the English Object Show Community Wiki template, which itself is a modification of the English Battle for Dream Island Wiki template, which is based off of the dialogue boxes in the game BFDIA 5b.

The four wikis also have the templates DiaNone and DiaEmpty, both also based off of the dialogue boxes.

The Japanese OSC Wiki's Dia template currently looks rather inconsistent with DiaNone and DiaEmpty, which can be seen in the page ループキャスト/セクション0.

I want it to look like the English OSC Wiki version, which would make it look something like this:

How could this be done?

Repeating (for) statement

I'm creating a module, where I want to do this:

{{#invoke:"ModuleName"|"functionName"|param1|param2|param3|...etc}}

to create a list with the parameters. The number of parameters are not fixed. So, if there's 5 parameters, the result should show a list of the 5 items.

I know it can be done with something like for i,v in ipairs(t), can anybody show me an example on how its actually done? All modules I can find in Wikia/Wikipedia are too complicated for me!

Switch statements

Excuse me, but would you please help me?

I'd like to convert w:c:ja.templates:Template:LanguageName/ja to Lua template, but I can't.

I have already read Lua templating/Converting Wikitext templates, but I haven't known how to convert this:

{{#switch:{{{1|}}}
| case 1 = Foo
| case 2 = Bar
| case 3
| case 4 = FooBar
|
}}

I don't want to show {{{1}}} for "case 5" and so on.

(And I don't understand how to use Module:Switch, either.)
