Removes data attributes "tracking" and "tracking-label" from HTML elements. It comes with two modes:

  • Only remove tracking when tracking opt-out is globally set (default)
  • Always removes tracking

To always remove tracking, window.dev.forceRemoveTracking have to be set to true.

Disclaimer: Running this script may break some site functionalities and prevent other scripts from working, or make them work incorrectly. By using RemoveTracking you acknowledge that when something breaks, it may not be possible to fix it while maintaining core functionality of RemoveTracking.

Why this script?

Why should I use this script if I already said, I don't want to be tracked?

The answer is childishly simple: Fandom pretends to remove all tracking but in fact it removes just parts of it. This script helps you to get rid of more than just a few places where you get tracked unconsentingly.
