Conflicts + ticked/unticked

Two comments:

  1. This still conflicts with MediaWiki:ShowHide/code.js
    • when auto-refresh is ticked, the collapsible JS fails to operate on that page
  2. For some of us at our wiki, it defaults to unticked. For others of us at our wiki, it defaults to ticked.
    • Why the inconsistency?
    • How can we make it default – as it should – to unticked for everyone?

With respect to the first, I'm not going to support a script marked as deprecated 5 years ago. Please move to using the mw-collapsible class or consider supporting your own workaround using ajaxCallAgain as described on the script documentation page.
The script defaults to true, although there was a bug with the initial state a few weeks ago that may have interfered with that. Without more information, which would include users digging around in their console, there's no way to diagnose the issue. cqm 08:05, 25 Mar 2017 (UTC)
Oh! I wasn’t aware the code at MediaWiki:ShowHide/code.js had been deprecated.<blush> I was wondering what that other code at MediaWiki:ShowHide.js was for! What about the code at MediaWiki:ShowHide2/code.js? There are so many show/hide codes here, I’m never quite sure what to do with ’em all!
When you say “defaults to true” [emphasis added], is “true” the same as “ticked”? It would seem to a no-nothing like me that one more variable line above the import statement at our local wikis could be used to set it to “false”, no?
