Question[]
Why is it not visible to non-logged users?

Discord banner not working.[]
I have the discord banner on my server. It's not been working for a while. It's not visible after I log out. When I am logged in, it appears and disappears, even without refreshing the page, as well as picks and chooses which pages it's visible on. Can someone look into this please, it was working fine, up until a month or two ago. Sebastian Clarke (talk) 19:38, April 3, 2020 (UTC)
I'm experiencing the same dilemma, with the banner showing up sporadically and picking and choosing which pages to appear on. Does anyone know why? Killer Kev 15:24, June 12, 2020 (UTC)
How to config[]
Sorry this is such a basic question, but where do I add the config code?
window.DiscordBannerSettings = { bannerStyle: '2', inviteLink: 'Vgfu9qb', // Fandom Developers, EXAMPLE CONFIGURATION prependToRail: false };
It's not mediawiki:wikia.css right? YazzyDream★ 03:23, November 13, 2020 (UTC)
- You would put it in your wiki's JS (MediaWiki:Common.js or MediaWiki:Wikia.js) --Sophie ♦ 03:27, November 13, 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you~ YazzyDream★ 06:06, November 13, 2020 (UTC)
- (Also, you should change the invite link configuration to use an invite link that points to your server.) -- Cube-shaped garbage can 10:14, November 13, 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you~ YazzyDream★ 06:06, November 13, 2020 (UTC)
- Yep, did that. :)
- But I've still got a problem, and I'm not sure if it's the same one that's referred to in the topic above? Because clicking on the broken image icon leads to the discord's invite... but it's still, y'know, broken. Is this something fixable on my end? Here's my wiki for reference. - It looks like your Discord server has its widget disabled. Please follow the first 8 sub-steps of DiscordIntegrator/instructions#Step 2: Enable Discord widget to turn it on. (Note that sub-step 9 isn't relevant for DiscordBanner, as you already have an invite code configured.) puxlit (talk) 10:42, November 14, 2020 (UTC)
- Oh wow! Sorry, I thought it had already been enabled since it wasn't a server I had originally started. Thanks! YazzyDream★ 11:00, November 14, 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry I keep bothering you guys, but what can be done to fix this? I don't need it to fit in the module box if it isn't possible...
- And this is a separate question, but is it possible to change the color of the banner? YazzyDream★ 12:41, November 14, 2020 (UTC)
Fix on "Banner 2" style[]
With the new "FandomDesktop", the right-rail module has become smaller in size than before (not sure if its adjustable or not yet), because of which "Banner 2" styles is getting cut-off on the right-side. If possible, it would be helpful if that gets fixed, or provide another solution (to use on other Fandom) to fix it.Supratim1986 (talk) 13:00, 18 July 2021 (UTC)
