New profile masthead[]
With these edits, Monchoman45 fixed the code for the Edit intro button so that it would work with the new profile masthead. It worked brilliantly for a bit. But, now it seems to have stopped working in the user and usertalk namespaces again. Just wanted to alert you guys. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 05:47, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
- Should be fixed. grunny:~$ 16:40, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
Script will need to be modified slightly[]
Based on what a member of Staff said via Special:Contact, this script will need to be edited slightly so the button will appear below the default items or below the refresh button. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 12:13, July 1, 2017 (UTC)
Hide button when page is protected[]
Hello. I think the button should be hidden when a user sees that the page is protected. It always appears for admins and content moderators, but when a normal user or editor sees the fully protected page, the button won't appear, and once new users see a semi-protected page, the button won't appear for them either. Just a small suggestion, since it doesn't make sense to make a user edit the page's introduction when it is already protected for them. ~Signed JustLeafy ( ͡| ͜' ͡| ) USER - WALL 16:26, August 25, 2019 (UTC)
