It was done by Wikia, so I don't know if its possible to undo it...
The problem is that there isn't nearly enough contrast between the background and link colors, which makes the page kinda painful to look at. It looks like the link color is one of Fandom's brand colors, too:
Blackish | Dark gray | Light gray | White | Green | Cyan | Blue |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
#39424d | #656e78 | #c5ced9 | #ffffff | #94d11f | #09d3bf | #00b7e0 |
I think there's a very easy solution to this problem: use a dark theme for this wiki, instead of a light one. Using Fandom's blackish color instead of white would make links, y'know, readable. Both green and cyan would look good on buttons and the wiki's navigation; whichever one remains could replace the current background color. Of course, the wordmark would need to be tweaked as well:
This one's easy, too: just make the words "open" and "source" white!
I agree, the white theme is way too white, it makes things ridiculously hard to read properly.
I actually like this theme
Yeah, I think all that's needed is a slightly darker link color.
I made this for those who desire a slightly darker look on the Dev and CC wikis.
