CodeLoad Not Working for Dev Scripts
I know your profile says you're not very active anymore though I just wanted to post here so my message isn't lost on the script talk page. If there's anything you can do to help me, it'd be much appreciated. DEmersonJMFM 20:29, 5 February 2021 (UTC)

i18n-JS caching improvements
Hi! We recently noticed that i18n-JS was generating a significant amount of uncached API calls to Dev Wiki. I have made an edit to the script that changes it to use anonymous CORS instead of JSONP callbacks, which in turn allows the requests to be cached on the CDN. I tested the updated script via console on Wookieepedia and messages seem to be loaded OK; calls made from the context of a different domain such as Wikipedia also succeed. If you have time, please take a moment to check out the changes and let me know if you have any comments/suggestions! TK-999 (talk) 16:20, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hey! I've given it a test (both locally and cross-domain, and for both pages and wikis that don't exist) with no problems noticed here either. I originally switched to JSONP to allow cross-domain requests without abusing ResourceLoader's article mode - at the time, I wasn't aware the API supported CORS else I likely would've used that back then. Considering the nature of the data loaded, I'd have no issues with a longer cache length either, if that would be preferred on your side. - OneTwoThreeFall talk 17:11, 12 February 2021 (UTC)
- Hey! Yeah, it doesn't really suit imo. I used the aqua to match Fandom's colour palette. I've undone their edit and left them a messagge suggesting personal CSS instead. Thanks for the notice! - OneTwoThreeFall talk 15:48, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
