Re: Making a blog for creating/operating JS bots

Sure, I guess. You can see this for an example. Patrik 14:40, May 4, 2019 (UTC)

Awesome, glad I was able to help. Let me know if you have more questions. Patrik 13:56, May 7, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Javascript Wiki Browser

Sure. Start off by importing the script with the code below. This code also adds a link to the page where you use the script for easy access.

$('#WikiaBar .toolbar .tools').append(
    $('<li>').append(
        $('<a>', {
            href: mw.util.getUrl('Project:AutoWikiBrowser/Script'),
            text: 'JWB'
        })
    )
);
mw.loader.load('//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Joeytje50/JWB.js/load.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript');

First off, are there specific mistakes you want to fix or do you just want to use the regex typo fixer built into the script? Patrik 14:17, August 6, 2019 (UTC)
Sounds good. I'd suggest that you make a sandbox page and test using the script to edit it, find and replace, fix typos, etc. Just play around and figure out how it works. Patrik 21:31, August 6, 2019 (UTC)
Enter your list of pages, select the regex typo fixer option, and start auto editing the pages with a 1 to 2 second delay. Patrik 20:04, August 12, 2019 (UTC)
Probably not. Most likely, the typo fixer just didn't find anything to fix. If you want to make sure it's working, try adding a typo like prerequiste and see if it fixes it. Patrik 15:37, August 13, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Affiliations template

I think the wrong template was copied. It seems to be working on that wiki's main page, is that alright? -- Cube-shaped garbage can 17:49, September 12, 2019 (UTC)

What happened is that Template:Wordmark on the Gakuen Heaven Wiki was the Template:Affiliations template from the Given Wiki, and Template:Affiliations template from the Given Wiki contained transclusions of Template:Wordmark on that same wiki. As the template was moved to the name which it called in itself, that caused a template loop (as Template:Wordmark was transcluding Template:Wordmark). -- Cube-shaped garbage can 21:36, September 16, 2019 (UTC)
That seems to just have been a cache issue - I have null-edited the page and am no longer seeing the template loop notice. -- Cube-shaped garbage can 23:56, September 16, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Wiki merge

You could take the list of all articles, place it in Special:Export on the first wiki while checking the "Include templates" option (if you want to import all templates used in these articles to the other wiki), use the button there to export a dump of all articles, go to Special:Import on the other wiki and upload the exported dump of pages to import them. -- Cube-shaped garbage can 20:32, September 18, 2019 (UTC)

It looks like the import log appears in recent changes, so I think using your bot for it might be better. -- Cube-shaped garbage can 20:37, September 18, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Flags

That is CSS only code and I don't think it's possible to do that with CSS only. Maybe there is some workaround, but I'm not aware of that. If you figure it out you are welcome to add it. leviathan_89 @fandom 18:06, September 19, 2019 (UTC)

The way you add a tooltip is to add a "title" attribute to a HTML element. The issue is that you cannot do that with CSS only because that's altering the HTML while CSS purpose is to change only the appearance. To add such tooltip you need to use JS too as far as I know. leviathan_89 @fandom 17:43, September 20, 2019 (UTC)

I have to look it up, I don't really "know" JS, I usually read documentations and copy bits of existing codes, but I don't think it should be much complicated. The only issues is I don't know if you have manually input the name for every flag or if there is a way to automatize it. leviathan_89 @fandom 17:14, October 8, 2019 (UTC)

If you are talking about the "helper" tag, I didn't do it. It's a in-built code made by Fandom since I'm part of the IVT group. For your code request, I'd suggest to ask on this wiki if there is someone willing to help you as I do not know if I can do that. leviathan_89 @fandom 11:46, October 10, 2019 (UTC)

RE: .gif display image

I usually upload GIF avatars after running them through Ezgif's resizer and then optimizer and they turn out pretty well and under the size limit. -- Cube-shaped garbage can 17:38, September 20, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Converting images

The silence meant I was busy, I replied on the thread now. -- Cube-shaped garbage can 18:02, October 11, 2019 (UTC)

Re: Question

I'm not sure what you mean. Did you add them? Patrik 19:30, October 11, 2019 (UTC)

Interesting. What editor are you using? Patrik 21:20, October 11, 2019 (UTC)
I guess your best bet would be to report it to staff as a bug via Special:Contact. Patrik 22:00, October 11, 2019 (UTC)
